MAKER is a multidisciplinary studio and gallery in Johannesburg with a focus on objects which have remarkable aesthetics. Founder and curator Lunetta Bartz is also a specialist framer and bookbinder with considerable experience in contemporary art.

We were asked to develop her brand from cardinal strategy, name development through to creation and implementation of the identity. The various facets of positive and negative spaces which make up the logo is a reference to the considered and collaborative nature of the studio.
